A designer at heart & an entrepreneur I didn’t know I was…..

My life's journey has led me to wear many hats – a wife, a mother, a former fertility scientist turned business owner, and now, a passionate online business and life mentor.

Even as a child, I was captivated by beautiful designs. I'd collect book covers, stationery, coasters – anything that caught my eye. These treasures sparked a lifelong love for aesthetics and creativity. Little did I know that this passion would one day become the foundation for my entrepreneurial journey.

My initial path in fertility science stemmed from a deep-seated desire to help others build their families. But life, as it often does, had other plans. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 presented a new set of challenges, when my passion to do what I love was taken away from me.

When an unexpected turn led me away from the lab, I found myself drawn to the world of entrepreneurship. It wasn't just about starting a business; it was about designing a life that aligned with my values, allowing me to prioritise my family, and gave wings to my creativity.

This led me to create The Curated Parcel, an e-commerce business born from my love for beautiful, educational toys with a purpose. I wanted to offer parents carefully selected playthings that would spark joy and learning in their children. It was never just about selling products; it was about empowering families to create meaningful moments through play. It was about “nurturing those growing minds & happy hearts” one household at a time.

My journey in creating, running, and scaling my online business to a 7 figure as a solopreneur has given me a desire to shine a light on female entrepreneurship in the online space.

In 2023, I took that same passion for empowerment and sharing my knowledge and growth strategy to other female aspiring entrepreneurs, I believe that we all have the potential to design a life and business that reflects our unique passions and values. I know the hurdles, the doubts, and the fears that can cloud your path. But I also know the exhilarating feeling of breaking through those barriers, reaching new heights, and achieving what once seemed impossible. It's not just about building a business; it's about creating a life that fills you with joy, pride, and fulfilment one edit at a time.

Nothing beats being able to do what you love most and for me, that’s attending every sports and school events with hubby for all three of my children.

I know what it’s like starting out with no plan or strategy but just an idea and that’s because I have in your shoes. I know what it takes to achieve success. I’m here to walk that journey with you.

Fun Facts About Me….

  1. I have three super active children who keep me both insanely busy and on my toes at all times. We love nothing more than spend most our weekends together, playing games and just hanging out. We never go anywhere without our children, that’s 13 years and counting…..

  2. I am a published author on 10 scientific papers during my first part of my career that is still today valid and has been used in many research.

  3. I have a double degree majoring in biochemistry & molecular biology and a Masters in clinical embryology and the irony is that I found what I love doing now more than ever.

  4. I am a food & wine lover, love any adventures except rollercoasters and I love the beach but I can’t swim. Maybe this might be my next challenge - learn to swim in my 40s?

  5. Things that make me happy: helping other entrepreneurs, the beach with family, long walks, being silly & laughing with my children, designing beautiful things on Canva & websites, spending every waking moment with my hubby, travelling with the family & learning...always learning.
